For Minecraft-Vanilla's first article, I thought I'd write about my most recent favorite : Bliss Shaders.

Bliss Shaders is an adaptation of the Chocapic Shader that X0nk wanted to improve with his own style to achieve sublimated, magnified landscapes in Minecraft.

His opinion is very clear on this point : “I liked chocapic13's v9, but i could not be satisfied. I went from changing shader settings to adding shader settings. Eventually i decided i wanted to try and bring out my own visual taste in the shader. So here i am, with a pretty sizeable edit of chocapic13's shaders”.

I've always wanted a game with more natural landscapes and a much more realistic environment. When I installed Bliss Shaders, I fell in love with it straight away! We're still in Minecraft, but the textures are impressively realistic. It's really impressive and beautiful! Every day is different, because the sky is so dynamic. Sunrises and sunsets are also incredible for the eyes. The game's colors are better worked. A real favorite! If you're looking for a highly realistic gaming experience, Bliss Shaders is for you!

The main features of Bliss Shaders

Gallery (my screenshots)

- Dynamic sky and weather (sunny, cloudy, overcast, rainy...).
- Highly realistic clouds.
- The environment is designed for each biome (fog, colors, etc.).
- SSAO, Bloom, Reflections, POM, and Normal shading.
- LabPBR support to enhance textures and ambient visuals.
- Everything is customizable. You can modify what you want, in relation to what you like or dislike, and to better manage performance.

Requirements

While Bliss Shaders is definitely worth the money, it does require a good graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD) to perform well. It works with both Iris and Optifine, but Iris is recommended as more suitable and better. For MAC support, or integrated Intel graphics cards, it won't work. Bliss Shaders is playable from version 1.16.5/1.17 upwards.
