I've always loved islands, preferably large and spacious ones so I can build whatever I want, have room to create fields and cultivate the land, and also because being next to or surrounded by the sea in Minecraft always gives a special and pleasant feeling. It's very rare to find islands in Minecraft, especially with certain criteria. Cyprus Island ticks all the boxes for its natural beauty, magnificent landscapes, and originality.

Cyprus Island is a map created by TryzzMC, whom we've already seen for Karphos Island, and which impressed me with its beauty and sublime landscapes, all while being naturally surrounded by the sea. Measuring 1500x1500 blocks and playable from version 1.21.5 (it was recently updated to 1.21.6), this map is perfect for a survival challenge, creating a unique coastal town, or simply living peacefully in your dream home by the sea. It's also available for free on CurseForge.

Main Features

Cyprus Island is spacious enough to accommodate several creations, such as a village or a city lost in the middle of the ocean, which is particularly interesting. You will find a large, relatively flat meadow to the east of the island, with water points and a few trees, ideal for construction, while a wooded mountain with a snowy peak and small heights are present to the west. The map is fully playable in survival mode because the author added all the features of the Vanilla version (minerals, underground galleries, submerged faults, etc.). In addition, classic generation quickly resumes as soon as you move away from the island. This is always a plus for going to recover and bring back new precious resources from the Overworld.

Installation Guide

Installing Cyprus Island is very easy. First, simply download the map. Go to your Downloads folder and unzip it with WinRAR or 7 Zip. Then, press the Windows key + R on your keyboard, type %appdata% in the search bar, and find your .minecraft folder. Once inside, locate the Saves folder and drag the map inside. Finally, all you have to do is launch Minecraft, select the map, and click play.

Now all you have to do is explore the island of Cyprus and have fun.
