MODSEQUIPMENT
Gold in Minecraft has always had very limited utility. While it's true that the amount of this ore present in the Overworld's underground remains insufficient, we'd like to be able to make good use of our gold stocks in our chests. This is now possible thanks to the Better Gold Stuff mod, which gives our beloved gold ore back the utility it should have had since the early days of Minecraft!
Better Gold Stuff (BGS) is a useful little mod created by Technicboyman that makes gold much more useful and interesting in Minecraft. As we all know, gold weapons, armor, and tools are aesthetically very beautiful, but are the most fragile in the game. Ultimately, the gold stocks in players' chests are rarely used, or are simply used for decoration. To be honest, we'd like it much better! Who hasn't enjoyed mining quantities of gold in the Overworld's underground? You might be thinking, like me, of the underground galleries of the Mesa biome (or Badlands) where gold is so abundant and present almost everywhere! Once melted, gold bars are practically useless to us, and that's a shame. But thanks to Better Gold Stuff, gold is back where it belongs : the perfect transition between iron and diamond!
Main Features
Tools and Sword :
- Buffed durability from 33 to 618.
- Buffed damage to be 0,5 less than diamond.
- Nerfed mining speed to be 7 (Iron is 6 and Diamond is 8).
Armor :
- Durability tripled on each piece.
- Full set buffed to 8 armor bars (from 5,5), so it’s 0,5 more than Iron.
Another great thing about Better Gold Stuff is that it works in both single and multiplayer! So enjoy it alone or with your friends!

Installation
- Windows : To install Better Gold Stuff, you must first download and install one of the two APIs (Fabric – Forge). Once your profile is created with the version of your choice, press the Windows key + R on your keyboard, type %appdata% in the search bar, and locate your .minectaft folder. Once inside, locate the mods folder and drag Better Gold Stuff inside. Launch the game and check that everything is working properly.
You can now fully enjoy gold in Minecraft, giving it the place it deserves!
