Whether you're a simple amateur or an experienced chef, we're left wanting more (no pun intended). Thanks to the Crafty Cuisine – Vanilla Inspired Food mod, you can now enjoy a wider variety of food available in the game, to the delight of your taste buds.

Created by RandomMcSomethin, Crafty Cuisine – Vanilla Inspired naturally fills the gap in food available in Minecraft. Let's face it, eating bread or apples every day quickly becomes repetitive and tiring. We often grow a lot of fruits and vegetables, without being able to use them as we'd like. We keep them in our chests and forget about them. With cocoa, we make cookies... And that's it... We'd like more! Much more! You've probably always dreamed of having more culinary possibilities in your kitchen and using all the available resources specifically for that purpose, but you want to maintain the game's vanilla feel. This mod is for you!

The mod's author shares this view and thought about how to add food using basic Minecraft elements. He racked his brains and even drew inspiration from the (since abandoned) Realistic Bakery Products mod to create new, simple recipes. He explains that he worked on four main ideas to create his mod :

- Use only the base game ingredients as much as possible.
- Give each recipe a specific advantage, regardless of your progress in the game.
- Try to create appropriate and practical food items.
- Fill the gaps in the vanilla Minecraft food system to make it what it should be.

Today, Crafty Cuisine adds 32 new food items to the game. When we say new, rest assured, we're simply talking about new recipes. For example, you can now cook apples or carrots. You can finally use cocoa to make chocolate tarts, or even make jam and put it on bread. It's still Vanilla content that we really appreciate for its simplicity and realism.

Installation Guide

- Windows : To install Crafty Cuisine, you first need to download and install Fabric and its ModLoader. Once your profile is created with the version of your choice, press the Windows key + R on your keyboard, type %appdata% in the search bar, and find your .minecraft folder. Once inside, locate the mods folder and drag Crafty Cuisine inside. Launch the game and check that everything is working properly.
