MODSADVENTUREEXPLORATIONENVIRONMENT

Structures in Minecraft have always been a little lacking in realism, originality, danger and life. Despite numerous updates, villages look the same, looters' towers are fine but lack treasure, desert and jungle temples are simplistic, and shipwrecks are pretty similar overall. These additions are good for the gaming experience, but the structures need more diversity to make them much more interesting and attractive to players. One mod stands out for making Minecraft's structures better, while retaining the Vanilla aspect of the game. It's called Towns & Towers!
Towns & Towers is a mod created by Biban_Auriu that aims to add new structures to all Overworld biomes. Its creator came up with the idea after Mojang's 1.14 update. He felt that it was a good one, but deserved to be improved and added to. That's how the idea for this mod came about. To do so, he drew inspiration from real-world buildings and architectural styles of certain countries or cultures. He then reproduced them in Minecraft, while keeping the Vanilla look so that these new structures assimilate well with the game experience. In all, Towns & Towers adds some fifty new structures to the Overworld! That's a lot! Some are easy to find, while others are harder to spot. But as Biban_Auriu reminds us: “And remember, it's not the destination that's important, but the journey to get there”. You get the idea!
Features
- Fifty new Overworld structures to find or conquer!
- New architectural styles and designs inspired by the real world.
- Compatible with most mods for easy integration.
- Regularly updated, with new structures every time.
Structure details
With a total of 56 structures, Towns and Towers opens the door to numerous exploration sessions!
- 24 new villages.
- 28 hazard-filled outposts.
- 3 new wrecks/structures in the ocean.
- 1 secret structure (for you to find!).
Villages
Villages are pretty much the same as those in the Vanilla version (with the exception of the architectural style). You'll find villagers with all professions (with a few exceptions), and the same loots in building and house chests.
Pillager Outposts
Pillager outposts are the structures that have undergone the most modification. They're bigger, more imposing, more unique, and have many more loots and enemies inside. As a result, the difficulty is greater than before. In general, there are three types of outpost: camps, towers and forts. Difficulty therefore depends on the structure. If it's small, there will be fewer Pillagers. On the other hand, if it's large and imposing, you'll encounter more enemies, but the loot will be much greater! This makes raiding these structures much more interesting. Always be vigilant when entering these new structures, as danger is ever-present!
Ocean Structures
Ocean structures also add interesting content for explorers. You can now find villages on the water (yes!), dangerous boats full of Pillagers, and new shipwrecks with chests inside. It's always an extra treasure!
Secret Structure
I'll leave you to discover it on your own, so as not to spoil things for you - that would be too bad!
