Minecraft's sky has always been appreciated by the community since the game's earliest days. It's true that it's an undeniable aspect of Vanilla mode, and that sunrises and sunsets are always magnificent. The blue daytime sky, however, remains an element that hasn't been improved by Mojang (or only recently with 1.21.6) and which should have been improved a long time ago. You can change this by simply installing the Hyper Realistic Sky resource pack, which adds realism to Minecraft's sky, for your enjoyment and that of your eyes.

Hyper Realistic Sky is a resource pack created by UsernameGeri and has been in development since version 1.19.2. It's therefore a fairly recent pack. Its strong point is its impressive realism in the sky, clouds, stars (including our beloved Sun), and the Moon. With a 1024x resolution, realism is pushed to a level almost never seen before, if we forget the shaders.

Among the elements we appreciate most, it's obviously the very realistic sky we now have before us. It simply feels like we're looking at a photo, or in real life, the realism is so perfect. The clouds are obviously a major highlight of the pack. You'll notice that there are several shapes, and that they change depending on the time of day, or over the days. This gives the impression of not living the same day each time, which is a considerable advantage if you spend several hours on Minecraft. The same goes for rain showers and thunderstorms. The clouds become laden with moisture, and you can see them coming from afar. It can even be frightening when the storms are there to tell you.

Finally, when you look at the Sun, Moon, and stars, they are finely drawn for a perfect illusion in your world. The Northern Lights, sandstorms, and rainbows are all very welcome additions that enhance the realism and beauty of the pack. The Nether and the End haven't been forgotten; I'll let you look at the images below to form your own opinion.

Hyper Realistic Sky is therefore worth a look! It's more of an add-on in the end; I therefore recommend using it with a realistic or vanilla resource pack. Note that OptiFine is recommended to fully enjoy the pack's features. Furthermore, it is compatible with certain mods, which makes it even more interesting. Also note that, due to its high resolution, Hyper Realistic Sky is intended for players with a well-configured computer.
